As a Business Intelligence (BI) architect, you'll be at the heart of designing and implementing BI architectures, strategies, and solutions. Your goal: to align information solutions with the client’s business priorities and generate real, tangible value.
What your day-to-day will look like
- Gather and document business intelligence (BI) needs.
- Collaborate with the business analyst to propose effective information delivery solutions.
- Ensure each project meets business needs upon delivery of the overall solution.
- Prioritize BI projects based on business priorities.
- Standardize BI definitions and concepts to foster a shared understanding across teams.
- Design and detail the architectures required to support business solutions.
- Support business units in defining their strategic needs, aligning strategic planning with the BI roadmap, and launching BI initiatives.
- Ensure the consistency of business solutions with the target information environment.
- Define and promote the BI vision by developing a clear action plan and engaging business units around that vision.
What you’ll bring to the role
- A university degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in architecture, with strong expertise in business intelligence.
- Excellent command of data analysis concepts, techniques, and architectural principles.
- Solid experience in data warehousing and BI solutions.
- Strong ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ease in understanding and gathering client and user needs.
- Excellent written French skills.
- Proven leadership and ability to mobilize stakeholders.
- Experience in consulting—an important asset.
