As a Data Engineering Developer, you will contribute to the design of optimized business intelligence solutions throughout the entire data lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality of the final product and producing clear documentation to support a solid understanding of the delivered systems.
What your day-to-day will look like
- Analyze and understand information and data needs to design tailored solutions
- Take ownership of data integration processes
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and security
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including definitions of source and target data and transformation rules
- Support clients in managing their technology environments as their data needs grow
- Create and execute unit, functional, and integration test scenarios
- Optimize system performance when necessary
- Collaborate closely with client teams to strengthen the business partnership and ensure the delivery of a high-quality product
What you’ll bring to the role
- Education in Computer Science (DEC, AEC, or any equivalent training)
- 3 to 5 years of experience in developing and implementing data integration and/or data exploitation solutions
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL
- Proven experience in developing data exploitation solutions
- Experience in consulting is a strong asset
